The Softer Side of Old World Design . . .

When you think Old World what comes to mind?  Heavy ornate furnishings with heavy quilts and tapestries.  Colors of golds, greens, maroons and browns.

While this may be true in some cases, as with any design style, with just a small tweak or adjustment you can turn heavy and ornate into something just a little softer.

I have always loved the mystical feeling that a set of stone steps implies . . .
