Getting Started with Style

Earlier this week, I did a post on creating inspiration and mood boards and where our inspiration comes from.  Today allow me to share with you unique and creative ways to personalize your inspiration/mood board.

Let creativity begin with the board itself.  Creating a fun and unique inspiration board can be as personalized, pretty and dramatic as the the items you put on it.

Painted a fun color with accenting trim

A frame works nice and it can be painted or aged according to your decor

As seen before . . .burlap makes for a great backdrop

Another use an old mirror frame and complimenting fabric
Framed chicken wire and clothes pins . . .
Use a whole wall

Clip boards keep several ideas separated

Do you have an inspiration board?  Is it unique to you?  What do you like to pin up on yours; ideas for projects, travel spots and dream vacations, kid's art, garden ideas . . . I would love for you to share your thoughts and ideas!
