Feature Friday

Home library's and Studiesit seems at this time of year when people are thinking about squirreling in for the winter; that the thought of a cozy spot to curl up in surrounded by their favorite books becomes more enticing.

There is just something about imagines of home library's and studies that create a sense of self indulgence.  While the weather is changing from warm summery days into cool rainy nights grab a cup of coffee, hot tea or your favorite glass of wine or brandy and sneak into these inviting spaces and enjoy a good book.

This library space adds a touch of modern with it's addition of a zebra rug and hot pink!

Shelves can be added to any room to create a library feel

This circular landing is a perfect place to create a library.

Not all library's are done in darker colors and wood tones.  This space makes use of soft shades of blue and white perfect for a cottage style or colonial feel.

Take advantage of an otherwise un-used space to create a quaint library area.

Modern meet Classic/Traditional with this zebra area rug and tufted leather ottoman

No library would be complete without a traditional ladder to reach those higher shelves

This small craved out space makes the perfect place for reading and relaxing

This room shows that not all library's are done in dark hues; this bright and airy room is a perfect place to add a home library

These imagines show some great examples of how to create your own home library, while accommodating any decorating style whether you prefer a room of honey hue colors or bright and airy with touches of modern and the unexpected.
